"We found that the conversion rate for our clients increased upon the introduction of a carefully considered video [on a landing page] compared to the same page without video. In some cases the boost in conversion was over 80% and the client was able to enjoy a return on his investment in video within the first week of the video going live."

80%? That's a pretty impressive number, if we do say so ourselves. Way to go, video. But it makes sense. Just think about the average amount of time you spend on a website after a google search. You know what you have in mind, and if you don't see it immediately, you're moving on. But if the first thing you see is a video that looks interesting... well, that's another story.

If your message is captivating, and it resonates, then you're already halfway to sale city. Now, there are all kinds of reasons that people like to watch videos online—it's an easier, more passive experience for your audience, videos can put real faces and voices to your brand, etc—but, studies like this one show that whoever your customers are, if they are online, they are probably watching videos. And those videos can be incredibly effective of your business. Admittedly, we're a little biased, but we think that a well-executed video can give you a figurative foot in the door when it comes to customer conversion.
